Heonilleung Royal Tomb

Heonilleung Royal Tomb houses the tombs of King Taejong, the 3rd king of the Joseon dynasty, and King Sunjo, the 23rd king of the Joseon dynasty. Both tombs are located about 400 meters from each other at the foot of Mt. Daemosan. Heolleung Royal Tomb contains the remains of King Taejong and his consort, Queen Wongyeong.

Seolleung and Jeongneung, also known as Seonjeongneung, is the name given to two royal tombs. These tombs are the burial sites of King Seongjong and King Jungjong. Seonjeongneung is surrounded by modern buildings in the middle of the city in the upscale district of Gangnam. Seolleung is the burial site of King Seongjong (1457–1494) and his second wife, Queen Jeonghyeon (1462-1530).

Taereung and Gangneung Royal Tombs are the royal tombs of Queen Munjeong, Myeongjong of Joseon and his wife Queen Insun. Taereung is the royal tomb of Queen Munjeong (1501-1565). She was the third wife of King Jungjong, who was the eleventh king of Joseon Dynasty. She was born to the Yun family on February 1, 1502.
