Kyungdong Presbyterian Church

Kyungdong Presbyterian Church is a unique and beautiful church in Jangchung-dong built in 1981 using roughly cut red bricks in the shape of praying hands. The church, which resembles a fortress, was designed by Kim Swoo Geun, one of Korea’s best known post liberation architects.

Take Subway Line 2 or Line 4 or Line 5 to Dongdaemun History & Culture Park (Exit 4).
At the top of the exit, make a U turn and walk to the first street.
Turn left and cross the street.
Continue 100m to the church on the left.
